Uses and Insights: Patchouli expresses a deep, grounding and sensual aroma that instantly transports the senses. Traditionally used in perfumery for its earthy and sexy nature, this oil has a low viscosity rate meaning it evaporates slowly. Patchouli is also known as a beautifying and supporting oil to the skin and is great in skincare and facial product blends.Our molecular distilled Indian Patchouli results in a lighter-colored oil with a smoother, cleaner scent, retaining patchouli’s signature earthy depth while softening its intensity. This refined version is especially valued in fine perfumery and high-end formulations where a more elegant, balanced patchouli note is desired.
Molecular distillation is a gentle, high-vacuum refining process used to elevate traditional steam-distilled Patchouli oil. By distilling at low temperatures over a very short time, this method carefully removes heavier compounds and impurities without damaging the oil’s delicate aromatic profile.

Aromatic suggestions for essential oil use:
For palm inhalation, tap one drop onto the palm of your hand, rub your palms together, cup over nose and inhale deeply.
For an aromatic night’s sleep, add a few drops to a tissue and place in your pillowcase.
For aromatherapy while driving, use our Car Diffusers or add a few drops to a tissue and tuck into the vent of your car.

Dispensing:
When using our 3.75ml vial, make sure to flip vial upside down and tap bottom of the glass with your index finger to dispense.
Each tap will equal approximately 1 drop of essential oil.
Shaking the vial alone does not work to dispense, be sure to tap.
When using our 10ml or 30ml bottles, please turn over the bottle and allow drops to drip out.
Please note that thinner oils dispense more quickly, while more viscous oils dispense more slowly.
Test how quickly an oil dispenses before using to make a blend to avoid too many drops dispensing at once.
Safety:
Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes and mouth. May irritate sensitive skin.
Dilute with a base or carrier oil or with plant based alcohol before using. Please note essential oils are not diluted in water, they will only be diluted when blended into oil, fat or alcohol.
