Uses and Insights: Rose Otto is considered the purest of all Rose oils. Rose Otto has the highest vibrational frequency of any essential oil. It comes to us from the Damask Rose, just as Rose Absolute, however it is extracted differently. Rose Otto by steam distillation and Rose Absolute by solvent extraction. Our Rose Otto expresses a delicate yet resilient, strikingly beautiful rosy and honey aroma. Highly treasured in perfumery, ritual and skin care, this oil is extremely precious. Spiritually Rose is known for its heart opening qualities. Believed to promote self love and acceptance, this oil has been used as an aromatic ally for anyone looking to connect to their inner strength and beauty and for those in times of challenging transitions. Rose oil is incredibly treasured. It takes approximately 50,000 Roses to produce just 1 oz of the oil.Please Note: If your Rose Otto is kept in temperatures below 69 degrees Fahrenheit, it may become solid and be unable to be dispensed. If this occurs, gently warm the bottle in your hand or against your body (e.g. in your pocket) to return it to its liquid state.
Aromatic suggestions for essential oil use:
For palm inhalation, tap one drop onto the palm of your hand, rub your palms together, cup over nose and inhale deeply.
For an aromatic night’s sleep, add a few drops to a tissue and place in your pillowcase.
For aromatherapy while driving, use our Car Diffusers or add a few drops to a tissue and tuck into the vent of your car.
Turn on the heat or AC and diffuse pure aromatherapy into your driving experience.
To bring aromatherapy to your personal care routine, add a few drops to unscented lotion, body or bath oil.
For use in an aromatherapy diffuser, please add the appropriate drops as suggested in the user manual.
Dispensing:
When using our 3.75ml vial, make sure to flip vial upside down and tap bottom of the glass with your index finger to dispense.
Each tap will equal approximately 1 drop of essential oil.
Shaking the vial alone does not work to dispense, be sure to tap.
When using our 10ml or 30ml bottles, please turn over the bottle and allow drops to drip out.
Please note that thinner oils dispense more quickly, while more viscous oils dispense more slowly.
Test how quickly an oil dispenses before using to make a blend to avoid too many drops dispensing at once.
Safety:
Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes and mouth. May irritate sensitive skin.
Dilute with a base or carrier oil or with plant based alcohol before using. Please note essential oils are not diluted in water, they will only be diluted when blended into oil, fat or alcohol.
